The Council adjourned at 4 p.m. ' THE HOUSE. The House of Representatives met at 7.30 p.m. A motion that a respectful address be presented to tne Governor-General in reply to His Excellency’s speech, was moved by- Mr W. A. Bodkin (Central Otago) and seconded by Mr G. C. Munns (Roskill). Tne House rose at 9.10 p.m. till 2.30 p.m.
