The “ Evening News ” understands that the King is at present considering spending next winter in the Dominions. Owing to the comparative nearness of South Africa, it is considered most suitable, although New Zealand has strong, claims, owing to its ideal climate. Already confidential inquiries arc he-' ing made, in Africa regarding a suitable locality for a residence. \ It is understood His Majesty himself suggested the Dominions when his doctors recommended the Continent.
