At a meeting of the Auckland Disrict Committee, it was agreed to iltctr the disqualification of J. W. Ucßae, A. J. Gilmer and W. Rennie jdekeys), for the balance of the term, o suspension rrom riding in races, md it was aso agreed to recommend :he Racing Conference to act likewise in regard to C. N. Carmont, jockey. I'lie disqualification imposed on the four jockeys named, dated from June 29tli. 1928, was for a period of two •ears. Applications by A. Driscoll and I. a. Tinker for permission to work 'n training stables were declined. A CLASSIC HORSE PURCHASED SYDNEY, June 2. Mr Percy Milley, of the Kia Ora itud, who is now in England, lias purhased from Lord Woolvington, the !i.ve-year-old horse Caledon, a brother if the Derby winner, Coronach, and he winner of £50,000 in prize money.
