The Resident 'Commissioner, Joy, of New Hebrides, reports a big volcano on the Island of Ambrym is again active. Between three and four thousand natives left the .island to take refuge on the Island of Mulekula, thirty miles distant. The Resident Commissioner is arranging for the provisioning of refugees. In tho previous serious eruption, of 1914 half of the Island Was destroyed.
