FOUND DEAD IN QUARRY'.

WELLINGTON, July I
This morning the body of Lewis Birins, fifty-six, married, of Palliser Road, Roseneath,..was found at the .bottom of a 2(X) feet face in a' quarry ■in Oriental Bay. I Deceased .was walking with friends on Sunday night m the. district above tne quarry, when suddenly he darted away, from them.. Fruitless search was made iby friends and the police that night. Deceased is said to have been in a nervous state at the ,time .of his disappearance.
ALLEGED THEFT OF BULLOCK
