SLIP BLOCKS LINE. I WANGANUI, June 30. On Saturday night a slip came down on the railway line half a mile from the scene of 'Saturday morning’s mishap again 'blocking the track until to-night when it was reported cleared. ALLEGED FORGERY. HAMILTON, Juno 29. William Augustine Lagan, said to be a traveller, of Christchurch, was remanded to-day on a charge of forging and uttering a cheque made in the name of D. E. Berge, Rotorua.
