steamer short of fuel. SYDNEY, June 29. The island steamer Makambo arrived at Sydney to-day in completion of a round trip to the New Hebrides. During her voyage, cyclonic weather caused her bunkers to run low, and horse boxes and other fittings were broken, up, the wood being fed to the hres. Timber was also taken Horn the decks. The passengers became excited but the officials reassured them.
