NAVAL DISPLAY
ENTRY TO SYDNEY. (Australian Press Association:) SYDNEY, June 28. Led by the cruisers Australia and Canberra and with three seaplanes droning overhead, the fleet of eleven vessels in line passed into Sydney Harbour, in twenty, mihutjes, making an imposing spectacle., The weather, however, was disagreeable. There were driving showers all the morning. which kept the people indoors. Watchers from cliffs and the foreshores saw, for the. first time, a merging of Australian and Now Zealand naval forces, led by the new and distinguished Admiral. The ships, when half-way up the harbour, turned and saluted H.M.A.S. Marguerite, on board of which was Lord Stonehaven, the Australian Governor-General. The New Zealand cruisers, followed the Australia and the Canberra. Then came the destroyers and submarines. All went to their various moorings. The N.Z. cruisers went to Circular Quay, where they will be open for inspection during the week-end.
