HOKITIKA BOXING CLUB
A meeting of the Hokitika, Amateur Boxing and Gymnastic Club was held at Keller’s Rooms last evening. Present:—F. McGregor (chair), J. Turner, J. Rutland, j F. Ballinger and secretary. »An apology was received from H. M. Coiilson. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Tho Secretary, reported that Paterson and Alichel consented to loan a tarpaulin for mat lor the toiirncv, the Club to have first right of purchase. , A donation was received from J. Findlay. Air W. Stopforth (forwarded a medal for the tourney. Mr Langford donated a medal for the most scientific boxer, which was received with thanks. The following officials wore elected for the coining tourney:— Referee—Mr Frank O’Neill. Time-keepers—Alessrs 1L Lynn and Al. Houston. Weight Steward—Air A. Aarrall. Gong Steward.—Mr J. Rutland. Ring Stewards—. Messrs G. Shaw. J. Findlay and E. Best. Call and Glove Stewards —Alessrs AY . HaybiUle, E. AY. Heeiian, T. Brown. and E. Ballinger. Official Stewards —Alessrs J. Turnei E. Ilowat. Al. Houston, jnr., and H. Harvey. Door .Stewards—J. Findlay and assistants.
