AUCKLAND, June 27
Till.. German cruiser Emden leaves dock at 4 p.m. anil berths at the Central Wharf. She leaves for Wellington on Friday and will he open to the public on Sunday alteinioon. The visitors are being entertained freely by tho citizens in a private capacity. Tho officers and men are said much impressed with their reception, which they believe will do much- towards establishing friendship between this part of tho British Empire and their own nation. Yesterday afternoon Archbishop Averill, accompanied by Rev. A. K. Vickery, called on Captain Von Arnault, on board the cruiser.
