Mr Hugh Gibson, United States Ambassador to Belgium, who is also , one of the American Delegation to the Preparatory Disarmament Commission, arrived last night in London. While in London he will, it is understood, hold converastious with General Dawes on the question of naval disarmament. OLYMPIA HOUSE SHOW. RUGBY, June 26. At the International Horse Show at Olympia, yesterday, the King’s Cup was won by Lieutenant Gibault, of Fiance, on the aged chestnut gelding, Mandarin. Fifty-one horses competed. ANONYMOUS DONATION. KING EDWARD’S HOSPITAL FUND. RUGBY, June 25. King Edward Hospital Fund, to which the money contributed in the thanksgiving services for the King’s recovery will be devoted, has received a donation from an anonymous patient in one of the London Hospitals, of the sum of 1000 guineas. ATLANTIC FLYERS MISSING BRITISH AIRCRAFT TO SEARCH RUGBY, June 25. No trace has been found of throe Spanish airmen. Major Franco, and Captain Oalbirzn and Ruiz, who lof 1 Spain on Friday on a trans-Atlantic flight via the Azores. The British aircraft carrier Eagle which is nroceeding from Portsmouth to Gibraltar, lias received wireless m struetions from the Admiralty to divert her course to help in the search lor the missing airmen. Tt is understood that aiernplanes will leave the Eagle when she is within the region ot the Azores and search a wide area.

For the first time in the history of the Schneider Trophy race for seaplanes. to he flown in September on the Solent, all the machines entered by the four competing nations will b monoplanes. fn the last race Gran' Britain entered two Super Marine Napier monoplanes and one GlostorNapier biplane. This, year the GlostorNapiers also will be monoplanes, while the French, Italian, and American challengers are all to be of monoplane construction. Some of these racin'’ monopanes are believed to be capable of speeds approaching 400 miles an hour.
