AMUSEMENTS.

RVERYBODYS PICTURES. IUN-TIN-TIX JX “ A RACE FOR LIFE "—TO-NIGHT. The* tiny's work on “A Race for Life” having come to an end the other day, Rin-Tin-Tin quietly trotted off the scene. He was immediately missed and a search instituted for him. Nowhere "was he to be found. It looked as if the ground had opened up and swallowed him. Followed by several others, Lee Duncan, jßinty’s trainer, rushed through one of the exits leading to Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, and in a moment spied the Wonder Dog, calmly sitting in the gutter with one paw on the knee of a small newsboy. The latter was licking an ice cream cone, and Rinty was looking up into his face, waiting for him to break off a second piece of the cone for him. The crowd halted at the sight. Lee Duncan’s first impulse was to scold Rinty, but the Wonder Dog looked so happy with his new friend that lie couldn’t do so. Finally, Duncan, going to the pair, gave the boy enough money to keep him supplied with cones for a week and ordered Unity to “ come nlong.” The trainer shook his head at the dog. “You’re just a dog, after all,” was all he could say, , and Rintv looked up with, an expression: which seemed to answer, “ Well, what did you think I was?” Further episodes in “ The Trail of the Tiger ” (serial) and a good comedy will nlso be shown. ‘
