BOY TO PAY £SOO. John Oill (14) of Blackburn, -was awarded £.j() damages at Manchester Assizes against Benjamin Pomfret (10) at Lower Danven, for personal injuries through assault. During a dispute Pomfret- twisted Gill's arm behind his hack, breaking a small hone in the elbow. As a result of the movement of the elbow is now limited to oOdeg. Mr Justice •Shearman said if the case did nothing more than warn hoys not to twist one another’s arms it would he a good thing.
