Roman Novarro’s next starring vehicle for Metro-Goldwvn-Mayer is “A Certain Young Man,” a modern society romance with a. touch of real drama, a lot of thrills, and heaps of laughs. It will be shown at the Theatre to-night. Ever since lie stormed the heights of unqualified public approval in “ Ben Ilur,” Novarro has caused a

stir of expectation as each of his pictures has been announced, and “A Young Man ” amply justifies the faith the public lias in his versatile talent. In this picture, lie plays the role of a young Englishman of fashion, with more admirers than his valet can count on fingers and toes, and the charming romance that develops-when he meets the right girl, played by M a recline Day, is complicated by the intrigue off jealous admirers —Renee Adoree and Carmel Myers—before an unexpected and thrilling end brings him happiness. Bert Roach as a trusting husband gives a humorous sparkle to this snappy and elaborately produced attraction. It moves with dash and sparkle from first to last. .The' story is the very essence of sophistication and cleverness, the..star portraying the role of a young English nobleman ;-blit the audience is kept, guessing as to how the sparkling romance..will end. This finely-produced, attraction will increase Novarro’s admirers by the thousand.
