BOY DROWNED. FOXTOX. .Tune 22. Tin* eight-year-old son ol Mr and Mrs T. M’Gee, Foxton. recent arrivals from Rongotea, was drowned in the .Manawatua River this afternoon. The child, with others was playing on the wharf and attempted to jump on to a punt, which he missed. Ihe river was in a Hooded state. Search is being continued for the Imdy.
