GAS FOR CONVENIENCE
The convenience of g;is for cooking and heating in these troublesome days is being well demonstrated. With so many ciiimneys and stoves out of order the gas service is being requisitioned for all kinds of purposes for which heat is required. 'I he use of gas displaces the necessity for expensive chimneys, and is such a ready and handy servant in ad emergencies that it is coming into general vogue. All Kinds of appliances are available locally for the various services to which gas may be applied, and households with the gas service.- at hand, are rejoicing that such a ready medium is available to assist with all kinds of domestic duties. Full particulars as to gas cookers, heaters and all kinds of appliances are available from Mr W. M. Shannon, Kevell Street, or on application to the 1 Gas Works, Stafford Street. In the present emergency many households are beholden to gas for bringing them through a very trying ordeal in household management.
