Salmon, (who'had held the position of Deputy Superintendent to the Dunedin Fire Brigade for 21 years, and who, haki a member for 39 years was appointed Superintendent, in succession,. A. G. Napier Senior Foreman'.RUH. Pruee, who has been in charge of South Dunedin outstations since 1927, was appointed Deputy Superintendent at Brigade headquarters, and Foreman J. T. Salmon of the Central Station, was promoted to the position of'officer-in charge of the South.
