PREMIER’S ACTION. [By Telegraph, Per Press Association.j WELLINGTON, June 12. According io an announcement by the Prime'.Minister to-day, a Minister of the Crown will lie present in Auckland on June 2Gth. to exchange with the Captain of the German warship Emden, on its arrival, courtesy calls oil behalf of the Government. Sir Joseph Ward pointed out 'that the Captain of the Emden would call on hint and his colleagues in Wellington; but, as the warship’s first port of call will he Auckland it was desirable that the Government should he directly represented in the initial courtesy call. The Prime Minister added that he natl made arrangements also for the extension of invitations to the Captain and as many officers as could he spared to visit Rotorua, and for the officers who could not go, to visit the Waitotno Caves. j
