' Claiming that an automatic machine for tlie sale of photographic films was a ; . shop within the meaning df the Act, the Inspector of Factories recently appealed to the Supreme Court .against the Magistrate’s decision^*that it was not a shop. Justice Smith’s judgment was given , this morning. The automatic machine in question was erected against a telegraph pole. The Judge held that a shop must lie a place capable of physical occupancy by the occupier and he dismissed tlie appeal. ;;
