AMATEUR BOXING CLUB
A meeting of the Committee was hold on Wednesday in Keller’s rooms. Present: Messrs H. Al(’ Coni.son (chair), J. Rutland, E. AY. Heciian, J. Turner, 1). Dowell, R. Furness, F. Ballinger. An apology from Mr F. McGregor was received.
. For the vacancy of Vice-President (two being necessary for affiliated clutis) Mr AV. AVilliams, proposed by H. M. Coulson, seconded by J. ButInnd, was elected unanimously. After discussion, Saturday, July oth, was the date fixed for the Open Tourney, application to be made tor the Boss train to be delayed on that date until 10 p.m. A motion that a letter of thanks he forwarded to M.r Frank O’Neill accepting his services as referee was carried. Mr Findlay was authorised to procure' ropes \ir ring as offered. It was resolved to call for quotes locally or a mat lor the ling.
