FARMERS TOUR
PROPOSED VISIT TO AUSTRALIA. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 11. Encouraged by the success of fourteen .farmers’ tours which .lie has conducted within the Dominion, -Mr F. Pawson (Railway Business ’Agent for Canterbury) has under consideration a proposal to organise special farmers tours from Canterbury to Australia next autumn. ' None of the details have been worked out, but it is probable that an arrangement will be made for a party to consist of 300 excursionists,- the .itinerary to include visits to the principal cities and .important stud.farms and sheep stations’. Probably the tour can be arranged at an inclusive cost to each excursionist of coo. - -
