FOR INJURY BY BULLOCK. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 8. John Edward Mill, as the result of being injured by a bullock on Ngalinurnngn Gorge Road, on August j>;i. claimed Cl 79 18s from AA’airarapa Butchers Ltd. and AYilliam A. AleCall um. drover. In his judgment to-day. .Mr Page. S.M., held that there was a failure to take reasonable precautions and that McCallum was liable. He flush er found that the Company was not liable, AlcC'nlliim being an independent contractor. Judgment was given for £29 18s special damages, and CIO general damages against .McCallum. and the Court fixed security lor appeal.
