MAGISTRATE’S COURT
GREY MOUTH CASES. [By Telegraph, Per Press Association.] GREYMOUTH, -Tune 10. Daniel Casey, aged 42, was sentenced to three months’ hard labour for theft of an overcoat from a Greymouth hotel, and one month for theft of a bundle of socks from a shop, terms to be concurrent. Casey bad five previous convictions for theft. James Harold Davoy, aged 2G, pleaded guilty to breaking two shop windows and stealing goods valued at ££9 lGs Hid and was committed to the Supreme Court. Joseph Taylor (Cohdeu) was fined £2 with costs for failing to file a return of Land. Counsel for the Commissioner of 4 axes stated defendant had not filed returns for eight years,
