HOKITIKA BOXING CLUB
The Hokitika Amateur Boxing and Gymnastic Club held a meeting in Keller’s Rooms on Thursday, Gth June. Present: F. McGregor (chair), J. L. Turner, J. J. Breeze, F. Ballinger, and the Secretary. Apologies were received from Messrs H. M. Coulson, J. Gotland, R. Furness. The minutes were read and confirmed.
A donation from Dr Hayes was received with thanks.
The sum of ,C2 2s was voted the .1 Prendergast relief fund.
The Secretary reported negotiations with Mr T. Moore Ifor tho Princess Theatre on a Saturday night, tho members being unanimous in appreciation of Mr Moore’s oiFer. Jt was resolved to hold an . open tourney on June 29th or July Gth, tho date to be fixed next meeting.
