The ’pß} outline" for” ah 'amalgamation* of the whole df...the -substantial interests in the brick and drain-pipe industry in )tl<e •Wellington province- -has'- been £ agreed to by the directors of.the.yar- ■> ions companies within the--'next few days. No definite details are available until the decisions arc made known, but it is understood that the interested parties comprise:—Murphy Bros. Ltd., Gaseo Pressed Bricks, Ltd./Silvcrton Brick and Tile Coy. Ltd,, and that options are held in favour of the proposed new company over tin* works of Peter Hutlion Co. Ltd., Wanganui Brick and Pipe Coy. Ltd. and the Wairarapa Brick. Tile and Drainpipe « Coy, Ltd. of Carterton. The Wellington Concrete Pipe Company is also included in the organisation. The total sum involved is likely to reach £350,000.
