AT LAKE MAHINAPUA The first annual sports meeting oT the Manaiiui-Ruatnpu Club, held al Lake Alabina,pint oil Saturday, was favoured by beautiful weather and a good attendance. The association was liable to the extent ol its assets for the repayment of all amounts borrowed from the board, but the liability of individual members in respect to the loans granted to other members did not extend bevoud the share capital they had taken up. In conclusion Mr Ross said that, as far as the Northern Wairoa Association was concerned there had not been any delay in getting money after tlm necessary formalities had been completed. The money was usually availaide for a borrower within throe weeks.
