A DAILY MESSAGE
there is no need to be MISERABLE ! Ik you wish to lie miserable, you can he. Aon can lie just as wretched as you choose to he. You have only to think incessantly about yourself, and you will he. If von focus all your attention on what you like, who you are, how you look, a hat others are saying about you or thinking about you, or the respect and admiration due to you, you will be right royally miserable —as miserable as you deserve to lie. Don’t ruin your perspective by being too introspective. Loss of perspective means mental astigmatism, and to a person who suffers 'from this affliction, all life is out of focus. Nobody ea i<es; nothing is right; everybody slights you; everybody is hitting at you; everybody is talking about you. You have made yourself thoroughly miserable. Make room in your outlook, mind, and heart, for the other fellow, and von won’t he nearly so miserable; soon will be quite happy. -M. PRESTON STANLEY
