Following a parly attended bo weal thy residents of Park-avenue districl on Wednesday night, Air Artliur Mor gan Smith, a C'loveland business man. lias died from a fractured skill, ami another guest, -dr Samuel Bell, an oil producer, of Ba.timcre, has been charged with homicide. The party was given in the Hotel Alarguey, at the apartment of Airs Bobert Schuotte, whose first husband was Mr Harry Harkness, the millionaire sportsman. Air Bell and Air Smith, it is alleged, both offered to take home a woman guest, Airs Hubert Brown, who was staying at the Hotel PI ay. a. A taxicab driver stated that lie saw Mi- Smith fall when Air Bell gave him a push to prevent him from a. cab in which Airs Brown was seated. The taxicab drove away with Airs. Brown and Air Bell, and Air Sniilh was arrested on a charge of drunkenness. On Friday morning Afr Smith died. When arrested. Air Bell denied tluu ho struck Air Smith.
