A man named dementi Co-mpsiou. aged 28 years, a musician .was shot dead at midnight at a small house in Fitzroy. An hour later .the police discovered Arthur Uiscoek, aged 45 years, a hairdresser, lying in a lane adjoining the King’s Theatre in* the city, shot through the forehead. ’ He died later at the Alelbourne Hospital. lliscock left a note in his pocketbook,, saying that he had shot a man in Fitzroy because lie had stolen his wife.
