Strachan .Knight, tlie land salesman, whose .dead body was found alongside that of liis sweetheart, Aliss Rene Linton, at Cremnrne (as cabled) yesterday, left a note saying that Aliss Linton had refused to marry him, and that lie was determined that no one else should have her. * Aliss Linton had appeared in tlveat* rieal companies which visited New Zealand.
