EVERYBODYS PICTURES, t HOOT GIBSON—FRIDAY. Hoot Gibson’s latest Western success “Hiding for Fame,” with Ethlyne Clair playing opposite him, will be showing at the 'Princess Theatre on Friday next. The Universal production is regarded as one of the cowboy star’s greatest screen hits. In spite of a long career of popularity and success in motion pictures, Gibson reaches the .Ipghest point olf his career in this production. Playing the sympathetic role of Bill Hammond, an expert horseman and “one-man Wild West Show”, Gibson packs the film with popularity and stunts. Hoot is always at his best in riding scenes and “Riding for Fame” is filled with these. The cowboy goes through liis famous list of stunts and adds a few new ones. Reaves Eason, noted as Hollywood’s greatest director of swift-moving scenes with horses, wielded the emegophone on this production. He also wrote the original screen story and collaborated with Summerville on the continuity. Easton, who directed the famous chariot races in “Ben Hur” has succeeded in .filming some of the screen’s finest riding scenes for the Gibson- picture. Miss Clair is a beautiful heroine. The Tit-an-haired Southern*' 'girl, who has only recently come to the screen, played opposite Hoot in “ The Prairie King” one of his recent successes. Included in the supporting cast are Charles I. French, Allan Forrest and Ruth Cheiringtori. The usual supports will- also 'bo.shown including further chapters of the circus serial and a good comedy. On Saturday* 'next' Dorothy/G;sh in “Tip Toes.” ’
