A correspondent of the “Maneheste Guardian,” discussing the possibility of the concession says that .scientists are agreed upon the enormous poten tial wealth of minerals lying in ih Dead Sea, hut opinions differ upon tinpossibility of putting these mineral on an extensive scale on the work market. Some experts state that it i perfectly feasible to land potash Iron Ihe Dead Sea in New York at a price one-fourth of that of the potash o ( Germany, which at the present tinu largely controls the world’s potasc markets. But other experts, such a Lord Melehett, are inclined to doub' Ih.at. Mr Novomeysky and Majo: Tulloch are resolved to begin on i
modest scale, so that in the earlyears tin' German potash monopoly will have litt’e to fear.
