There lias been a full week - ol dull wcallicr and ■comparatively mild tern peratores indeed. East night it was five above zero, a surprising rise as the wind was not unusually sti’oiig. No matter how moody or repellent the frozen world may he outside, it is warm and cheery in lhe houses. 4he days go very rapidly. In less than a month the winter days will be reached and we can look ahead to a return ol the sun.
