ACT AMENDED. By TeJeg.aph—Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON., May 25. The Transport Minister, Hon AY. A. “Yeitcli announces that an* Ordor-in-Council has been pased altering the motor regulations. It lias been discovered that motor, coaches, not constructed for the purpose, are plying in qertain districts, in competition with motor omnibuses which are specially designed for the carriage of passengers. TliiH premium on the first is only £3, aiyf on the latter £l2 upwards. The regulations now provide for the former paying the same rate as the buses, according to seating capacity: with the provisio that vehicles used in the carriage of school children picnic parties, sports clubs and never available for passenger hire by the general public, remain at £3 up to ten seats capacity, with an addition of 5s for every seat over that number; the driver not being counted.
