During the Chamber debate on the Budget, Mussolini announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had been completely reorganised. All officials were now conscious that they were rcporseiititig a victorious Fascist Italy. Ho added: “When a nation is weak and disunited, it cannot pursue a great foreign policy. We are now able to say that Italy is listened to with respect, and that under the, Fascist regime Italy of to-morrow will be' respected and feared.”
