EXPANDING MATCH TRUST. BERLIN, April 6. The gigantic Swedish match concern is stretching out its tentacles over Germany with disastrous results to the employees. The latest triumph of the concern, according to the “Berliner Tageblatt,” is to induce the Feropol Company, whose activities have been very disagreeable to the Swedish Trust, by a most' generous payment, to abandon its match enterprise. . At the same time the concern has acquired some smaller factories, including one in a Berlin suburb, which were connected with the Feropol Company, and, followed its practice in Germany, has closed them down. It is only a few months ago that a match factory at Koingsberg, East Prussia, was bought and closed down by the Trust.
