'l’lie Kwungtung-Kwangsi situation has undergone a complete change, as the result- of Canton’s forces having administered a signal defeat on the Kwangsi army. This is largely attributable to ten Canton air planes bombing the enemy troops with great accuracy.
Canton claims five thousand prisoners, and states that seventy per cent of the Kwangsi forces are either killed Or prisoners and that the rest are fleeing to the hills. Large, numbers of wounded have been arriving at Canton, all yesterday and to-day. 'file Canton authorities assured the inhabitants that they hold the upper hand,, and have broken the Kwangsi movement.
