There is a ifeeling here among aviators that Moir and Owen have been forced down somewhere in Timor and are. unable to rise again. i The aeroplane “ Atlanta ” with Pilot Drain and Wireless Operator Robinson (Director of 42. G., Brisbane) aboard, has left to take part in the search. Captain Grosvenor is continuing his search between Wyndham and Darwin.
SEARCH FOR MOIR, EXTENSIVE ARRANGEMENTS (Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 24. The Federal Government ship, Ivyogle is now searching for Moir and Owen in Timor Sea, from Darwin, and a vessel of the Dutch Government is cruising- round the southern coast of the Island of Timor. Dutch Eadt Indies seaplanes atre proceeding to search the island of Timor and adjoining seas towards Darwin. Pilot Brain’s Atlanta arrived at Longreach last night and will leave for Newcastle Waters in the morning.
