PRINCE HUPAIHREY. A NEW COMPLICATION. (Australian Press Association) SYDNEY. May 22. An investigation of the (facts concerning the pedigree of the A.J.C. Derby winner, Prince Humphrey, which, it has been claimed, is really that of a horse named Cragsman, discloses further puzzling feature involving a third horse. It. is stated that, according to the printed catalogue, a very poor performer named Royal Brew, racing at Sydney until'recently, has brands or marks closely resembling those claimed for Cragsman. Air McKenzie, tlie former owner, described Cragsman’s brands as an inverted “ V” over “ B” on the near shoulder and the figures 5 over 144 on the near hindquarters. These are identical with those given 'for Royal Brew, which is described as a hay colt by Duke Humphrey from Alaitress.
