Mawhcra defeated United at Greymouth yesterday by two goals to nil, scores being made by .Miss 1). Leach and M iss M. Little.’ The game was a last and well contested one. Mr Bichmond was referee. ' Stars defeated Bunanga at Greymouth, when a very hard tussle was witnessed. The home team notched a win by two goals to one. risen was the scorer for Bunanga. Mr t). McLean was referee. Hokitika defeated Blackball on Cass Square by six goals to nil, three being scored in the first half and three in the second. The winners had all the Lest of the play throughout. For Hokitika, three of the goals were scored by Mrs Butson, whilst. Miss J. Hall netted two, and Miss M. Sumner one. The outstanding players on the home side were airs Butson, Misses L. Staines, B. Stapleton, J. Hall, and M. Sumner. The visitors’ most prominent players were Misses P. Hogg, Parker and Neilson. j The Blackball goalie defended well, stopping several very hot shots.
