Air Justice Adams in the Supreme Court to-day had to clccide to oAvnor ship of a sum of £483 deposited in th Rank of Ncav Zealand. Sarah Laban Nelson, plaintiff m the action, worked hard as a charwoman for thirty-five years, and saved her earnings. Later Watkins was admitted to a Mental Hospital and >l,rs Nelson could not receive the principal or interest, the Public Trustee claiming that the whole sum belonged to Watkins.

It Avas explained at the hearing that he Public Trustee Avas not opposing Mrs Nelson’s claim to the money, buf could do nothing over the money unless under the Court’s direction.

After being satisfied -Mrs Nelson’s •Tory Avas true, His Honour said he had no doubt of the bona tides of Mrs Nelson, and gave judgment for Mrs Nelson for the full amount.
