LATE LOCALS.
The usual weekly- social -at St. Mary’s Club will be held this (Tuesday) evening at S o’clock. Supper provided. Advt. At the inquest on Mrs Hugh Fraser, held at Murchison by the Acting-Coro-ner, Mr A. B-. McNee, J.P., the following verdict was returned: “That deceased, Emma Mary Fraser, met her death by drowning, there being no evidence to show how she got into the water.” The Acting-Coroner and the jury extended their sincere sympathy, to Mr Fraser and family in their sad loss. It will interest ladies to inspect the autumn frocks and evening dresses just opened, also new materials for making up in novelty tweeds, charmelaine's, check, fancy and plain flannels. tJ iirodnr and Co.—Advt.
