WORK IN AUSTRALIA. WELLINGTON, May 17. Another step in the campaign to obtain increased publicity for the Dominion will be made next monui, when Mr It. W. Fenton, assistant to the Officer-i 11-Charge of the Publicity Department, will leave for Australia. Mr Fenton will be in the Commonwealth for about one month, and his duties will consist of a thorough overhaul of New Zealand’s .publicity methods in Australia. It is expected that many improvements will lie made and fresh avenues opened up as the result of liis visit.
Experimental work will soon begin about Wellington with the new technicolour process which the Publicity Department is obtaining from the United States to apply to its weekly film release for overseas. As sron as the Department is satisfied that the technique of the new process is thoroughly understood a programme will be drawn up for filming beauty spots in colour. The new equipment left America on the 4th of this month and is expected to arrive next week.
