GAS APPLIANCES
There is on view at W. 11. Shannon’s, Revel I Street, one of the latest Champion gas and fuel cookers, similar to that illustrated in the Company’s advertisement on page 3 of this issue. The cooker is handsomely finished and is being inspected by a number of people.
The cooker is specially designed for providing a hot-water service, and can f be used also an an incinorator for the / destruction of household rubbish. The heat so generated helps the hot .water si’s tern which the' cooker maintains. Those building or changing over from the drudgery of coal stoves, cannot do better than inspect this latest type of cooker, which will be on view till Tuesday when it has to lie removed for installation. They are ideal 'for now homes.
In order to encourage the installation of these cookers which are .sure to lie a pleasure and delight to users, the Gas Company is making a special allowance in price on the first six ordered. Two have been ordered already so early inspection and decision is necessary. On Tuesday at the gas cooking demonstration at the Soldiers’ Hall, a new type of Regulo' gas cooler, the “ Miramar,” will be in use. This is a " very handsome addition to any kitchen and is as useful as it looks for the special business it is built for. Orders are now being booked also for ■ this style of-cooker which is quite new to the town. ' >'■ ■ wL’
