ENGLISH LADIES’ CHAMPION-: SHIP. PLAY IN A STORM. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, -ray 15. Atrocious conditions prevailed in the ladies’ golf championship competition at St. Andrew’s this morning. A storm suddenly arose with thunder, lightning, terrific rain, and huge hailstones. Everyone was drenched to the skin. The greens were sheets of water.
