big exhibition proposed

A meeting will be held in London on Thursday to discuss details of a. great exhibition to Italian art to be held at Burlington House. Lady Chamberlain wife of the Foreign Secretary,- who is at the head of the committee in charge of arrangements, has already made several journeys abroad in connection with the organisation of the exhibition. The liveliest interest has been shown by Italian art authorities, and the Pope and Signor Mussolini have expressed-' their willingness to assist. All the great Italian galleries, including the National Museum of Naples, the Ufizzi and the Pitti galleries, have declared their readiness to contribute representative works.
