The Ball to be given in aid of the funds of the Local Beautifying Association on Wednesday next by the Hokitika Jazz Club is sure to attract a large attendance. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board advises that the following prices are being offered for fat stock for export at 13th. BJd. it may be noted that at the present time most lambs are being purchased by the bead—considerati n being given to the quality of the lambs and the value of the skins.
