LONDON, May T 4. The Daily Express Paris correspoml■nt- states that in a special interview
with M. Clomonceau lie asked: “What do you think of the result of the British elections?” M. Olcmenceau re plied: “T think Baldwin will win.” “But what about the women’s vote?” asked lie correspondent. M. Clomonceau then asked the correspondent ; “Who do you think will win ? - ’
To tin's the correspondent replied: T think Llovd George will be the ensatioii of the election.”
M. Clomeneoau’s eyes hardened. TT<
said: “I’ll toll you about this Lloyd George. He is unstable, and knows not what he wants: but T know what he wants. It is violence!” So saying, M. CTemenceau rose, and put his hands on the neck of the /correspondent, and shook him. The correspondent asked: “Is r 1 true you have quarrelled with Lloyd George?”
“The Tiger” laughed, and said “Yes. indeed 1 Once- we nearly iougnt. President Wilson walked between us and pushed us apart.”
