Quite a stir lias been created in the (Jill Guide movement on the AYest Coast, for the first" camp to be held by Guides lias been arranged at Kumara. Representatives of Girl Guides from Beefton, Greymouth, Kumara and Hokitika, have gone into camp for a week’s training. The camp is being managed by Miss O’Rourke (Eagle Owl) of Christchurch, and Miss hoe, a Guider of considerable experience in London and England. A"h intensive system of training will lie undertaken by the representatives at Kwniara, and on Sunday tho Guides will hold a visitors’ day when the trainees will be happy to welcome their friends and those interested in the Girl Guide movement.
