Circumstances surrounding the death of Patrick McGlone (a former West Coaster), who was found lying in a semi-conscious condition on Foxton line on tlie evening of May 4th and Who died in the hospital later/wefei •investigated by the Coroper, whose verdict was that deceased died. of liaentor,rage and laceration of the brain, which followed a fractured, skjillj. caused by being knocked down by a..car. It seems extraordinary that the person responsible for the accident, should not make it .known,, said the Coroner. 1 hope every effort will be made to trace him.
Senior-Sergeant Whitehouse —This is one of three similar cases in the Dominion in a week. The matter is very serious. In this case the police have not a great deal to work. on. Every effort is being made to trace the car driver.
